ON TO SAN ANTONIO: The amazing LBJ Jaguar Marching Band pulled off a stunning performance in finals competition- at the UIL Area marching Contest on Saturday night at the Hays H.S. Stadium. Four bands of the 20 that competed from cities including Waco, Leander, Austin, New Braunfels, and San Antonio to name a few, qualified for the "AAAA - UIL State Marching Contest" to be held in the Alamodome. The LBJ Band's Tchaikovsky show was a big success and has become a crowd favorite. And now it's on to State (Nov. 3rd). Congratulations and good luck to the band and director staff. The other three bands with LBJ headed to state are: Hendrickson, Dripping Springs, and Hays. LBJ's exact performance time for prelims at state on November 3rd will be announced and published soon. Estimated performance time is 11:00am, however, the official schedule is to be determined.
