The high energy, visual impact
section for the marching band is the colorguard. Choreographed
movements with flag, rifle, and sabre accentuate the beautiful music
and drill designs of the band. The colorguard works closely with
the marching band to produce exciting, competitive, and stunning
performances on the football field. The LASA/LBJ High School colorguard
is under the direction of Fernando Hernandez and Katie Jordan.

HIGH SCHOOL WINTERGUARD
During the football season,
the LBJ High School marching band and colorguard perform during halftime
at football games and compete at several marching contests. Once the
football season ends, winterguard season begins! The colorguard makes
a transition to compete indoors. The gymnasium floor is the stage for
an exciting 4-minute show performed to pre-recorded music. The winterguard
season is very challenging, competitive, exciting, and, best of all,
FUN!
For more information on
how you can become a part of the LASA/LBJ High School winterguard, please
