The LBJ Band is respected as one of the finest bands in Texas! This proud program has represented Texas in places as far away as China, London, Paris and Hawaii and has won top festival awards inTexas, Florida, Oklahoma, California, and Colorado. The band consistently wins Division I and sweepstakes honors at UIL marching and concert performances.

The pursuit of musical excellence on the marching field, the Jazz arena, and the concert hall for the 220-member Jaguar Band has become legendary. Members find that making great music and making great friends go hand in hand.

The marching schedule is friendly, and students often make better grades because of good time-management skills, focused attention, and great support from the band family.
